• Approve an authorize the City Manager to execute a contract for animal control services with the City of San Bernardino for Fiscal Year 2007/2008, with provisions for two (2) one-year extensions.

  Consent Calendar Item K

• (1) Award bid and authorize the City Manager to enter into a construction contract with MCC Equipment Rentals Inc., in the amount of $4,575,112.10, and approve a 10% contingency in the amount of $457,511 for the San Bernardino Force Main Project, contingent upon approval by the State Water Resources Control Board to award request. (2) Award big and authorize the City Manager to enter into a construction contract with Brutoco Engineering & Construction, Inc., in the amount of $3,588,000 and approve a 10% contingency in the amount of $258,800, for the San Bernardino Avenue Lift Station Project, contingent upon approval by the State Water Resources Board to award request.

  Consent Calendar Item O

• Approve relocating the historical monuments and statuary site to an area west of the Depot Art Gallery and north of the Pagliuso Chapel and Vineyard and designate the area north of the Fontana Historical Society's Memorial Rose Garden as the Veteran's Memorial Rose Garden.

• Urgency Ordinance Regarding Adjustments to Sewer Service Rates. Adopt Urgency Ordinance No. ____, reaffirming and increasing sewer service rates beginning July 1, 2007, and directing that such rates be collected on the tax roll.

  Public Hearing Item A

• Quarterly Lien Action Report for Delinquent Sewer, Rubbish and Weed Abatement. (1) Adopt Resolution No. 2007-____, adopting the Statement of Unpaid Expenses for weed abatement and imposing a lien against real property for payment thereof. (2) Authorize staff to complete and record lien notices against real property for those sewer accounts sixty days or more delinquent as described in the certified lien list. Direct staff to forward recorded liens to the County for collection. (3) Authorize staff to complete and record liens against real property for those rubbish accounts ninety days or more delinquent as described in the certified lien list. Direct staff to forward recorded liens to the County for collection.
